Mediators

Three mediators, and you work with one

Every matter has a single mediator from the fit call to the summary. We each practised law before mediating, and none of us represents either side once you've booked.

  • Sachiko Takahara, with shoulder-length gray hair, in a black blazer and pendant necklace

    Sachiko Takahara

Founding mediator · Separation and elder care

Practised family law before she started mediating separations and family care.

  • Efua Quaye, with long hair, in a light blazer, smiling slightly

    Efua Quaye

    Mediator · Business and workplace

A former employment litigator who now sits between both sides.

  • Kwesi Ansah, bearded, in a dark suit and tie

    Kwesi Ansah

Mediator · Parenting plans and families

Trained as a social worker before law school. Mediates in English and Spanish.

How we choose who mediates

On the fit call we ask what the matter is about and whether anyone has worked with one of us before. If either of you knows one of us from somewhere else, that mediator steps aside.

You can ask for a particular mediator, as long as the other person agrees. If they have time in the next two weeks, they'll take it.

Talk with a mediator first

The fit call is free and private, and it's with the mediator who'd take your matter.
